We all know that Iran sponsors international terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas and that their President has stated that they will; Blow Israel off the map! Now they are saying that; Israel will one day vanish. Presumably he is reiterating that they will use nuclear weapons on Israel as soon as they have them available. The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is indeed a force to be reckoned with and they continue to buy high-tech weapons systems from China and Russia, while they build up their military arsenal. The President has also said any intervention from the United States will result in harm and pain to the United States, her allies and assets. Also stated is that any sanctions against Iran will result in oil trade wars. We have a crisis on our hands in the world as what to do with a nation, which is planning to annihilate another nation via nuclear weapons and continues to support International Terrorist Organizations, while also sending in insurgents into Iraq to kill US and Coalition Troops. Something must be done and any diplomatic situation is simply un-workable with this current regime. Unfortunately this leaves few options for first world nations who are very concerned with a rogue nation with nuclear weapons, which runs around threatening all of human civilization. We must indeed consider all this in 2006. |
